This is fairly complete timing chain kit which also includes the lower chain guide. Please note that there are much cheaper suppliers online. They sell their parts and timing chain kits for M271 engine much less.
Other M271 timing chain kits online if much cheaper then they are most likely Chinese made products. We offer here a German aftermarket product with the usual German quality.
You will find online that Chinese alternatives lack of reliability and the chain will snap in fairly short time. Is it worth tearing engine apart twice? Snapped chain could result a completely damaged engine!

Within this listing we offer two different type of M271 timing chain kit. It is quite easy to choose. If your engine is fitted with kompressor then choose "With kompressor" option. Make sure when you take the camshaft cover off that you don't break the weak cam bolt! You should carefully slide the cam cover off as the cam bolt could stuck to the magnets inside.  In case you break one camshaft adjuster bolt then:

As of 2021 we provide you with UPGRADED cam sprockets! Our cam sprockets have been fitted with improved 40CrMo alloy pin and drive plate inside the sprocket. This prevent quick wear and provides a lifetime fix.
On well known selling platforms all those cheap Chinese sprockets have been fitted with cheap/weak C45 Steel alloy pins which will wear out as soon as your warranty ends.

Kompressor option includes:

* Full set of timing chain kit including tensioners, guides, chains etc.
* Tensioner end cap (bung seal)
* Cam gear tool (T100 - 1/2" torx bit)
* Chain riveting tool
* Front crankshaft seal
* Lightweight crankshaft sprocket (better performance)
